During the festival organized by the International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ISNTD), Mundo Sano Foundation was recognized for the videos “Heritage” and “Equity”.

The recognitions highlighted the work of Mundo Sano to make Chagas disease visible, promote its diagnosis and treatment, as well as the right to health.

“The main purpose of making the video “Equity” was to put Chagas disease in a global context, show that it affects more than one type of community; highlight the right to education, the right to health”, stated the anthropologist Marina Gold during the presentation in the Festival.
Mundo Sano, aligned with the ETMI Plus strategy of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), aims at the achievements that can be attained in 2030, as planned in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) promoted by the United Nations.
