{"id":18796,"date":"2019-01-15T17:12:29","date_gmt":"2019-01-15T17:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mundosano.masmedios.info\/?page_id=18796\/"},"modified":"2020-02-18T13:55:43","modified_gmt":"2020-02-18T16:55:43","slug":"partnerships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mundosano-wordpress.server.brobert.net\/en\/partnerships\/","title":{"rendered":"Partnerships"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>In 2010, we began a period of important partnerships and took a leadership role in the following global and national organizations:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>World Health Organization (WHO):<\/strong> In April 2017, we participated in the Global Partners Meeting on Neglected Tropical Diseases. In that year we also established a partnership between both institutions to strengthen access to diagnosis and treatment of Chagas disease.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pan American Health Organization (PAHO):<\/strong> Since 2016, we have maintained official relations with this institution. This was possible after a process of an exhaustive analysis of the management and collaborations between the Foundation and PAHO.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Global Chagas Coalition:<\/strong> We are one of the Founding Members, together with DNDi, the Sabin Vaccine Institute, ISGlobal and CEADES.<\/li>\n<li><strong>STH Coalition<\/strong>: We are engaged in this working group that seeks to increase the efforts in addressing geohelminthiasis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uniting to Combat NTDs:<\/strong> We are the only Latin American organization participating in this international coalition created to reduce the impact of ten neglected tropical diseases. It is supported by the Bill &#038; Melinda Gates Foundation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alliance for the control and interruption of vector transmission of Chagas disease in Central America and Mexico:<\/strong> \u00a0Fundaci\u00f3n Mundo Sano, DNDi and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), from Canada, are the members of this alliance, which is based on a framework partnership agreement that includes the development of a project in areas of high Chagas disease transmission in Guatemala, with the participation of local authorities and universities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Foro del Sector Social (Social Sector Forum)<\/strong>: We are engaged in the Health Group of this Forum and are members of the executive committee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE; Group of Foundations and Enterprises):<\/strong> We participate in its Affinity Group on Health, in corporate volunteer activities and in the General Assembly of Partners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>RACI (Argentine Network for International Cooperation):<\/strong> We are members of Red Argentina de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional<\/li>\n<li><strong>Harvard University<\/strong>: We have signed a framework partnership agreement with the T.H. Chan School of Public Health of Harvard University.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sports, Childhood and Chagas disease:<\/strong> We signed a non-reimbursable technical cooperation agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), acting in its capacity as administrator of the Japan Special Fund for Poverty Reduction (JPO), with the aim of contributing to the reduction of the impact of Chagas disease in the Gran Chaco region, which covers Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay.<\/li>\n<li><strong>General University Hospital of Valencia<\/strong>:\u00a0Based on this agreement, we developed programs for prevention, training, diagnosis and treatment of Chagas disease focused on Latin American migrant communities together with patient associations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Carlos III Hospital of Madrid; Center for Research in International Health of Barcelona (CRESIB); ISGlobal and Hospital Ram\u00f3n y Cajal. <\/strong>\u00a0We have signed cooperation agreements with all these institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2010, we began a period of important partnerships and [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v21.2 (Yoast SEO v22.9) -
